MONIOMI at KBIS 2026: Designing for Connection and Intentional Living
KBIS 2026 brought together the best of design, craftsmanship, and innovation and this year, MONIOMI was proud to take part as an official ambassador.
In collaboration with Kohler, MONIOMI designed the show kitchen, creating a space that embodied the studio’s philosophy of intentional living. The result was an environment where beauty and function exist in harmony, and where the kitchen evolves beyond utility into a setting for gathering, hosting, and everyday ritual.
Every detail of the space was approached with purpose. From material selections to spatial flow, the design invited interaction encouraging guests to not only view the kitchen, but to experience it. The installation reflected a broader vision of how thoughtful design can shape the way we live and connect.
Beyond the physical space, the week was defined by meaningful dialogue and creative exchange. As part of the show’s programming, MONIOMI hosted a panel titled The Art of Entertaining, exploring how spatial intention influences the way people come together. The conversation highlighted the role of design in fostering connection, reinforcing the idea that environments can actively shape human experience.
Participation in KBIS 2026 marked an opportunity to engage with a community that continues to push the industry forward through innovation and collaboration. The experience underscored the importance of designing with both purpose and people in mind.
MONIOMI extends its gratitude to Kohler and to the broader design community for an inspiring week.
